Arm Balances Basics

Banish your arm balancing fears! Arm balances are fantastic for building both physical and mental stamina and strength. This workshop will explore how to transition into and out of bakasana (crow pose) and parvritta bakasana (side crow) with grace, strength and control. We will learn how to properly engage the core of the body to achieve lift-off, while props will provide a sense of stability (as well as a crash pad!).
This workshop is SUITABLE FOR ARM BALANCE BEGINNERS who are trying to build a Crow / Side Crow practice. In this workshop, you will tap into and unlock your potential for personal growth and surprise yourself.
PREREQUISITES: Able to hold plank / low plank (Chatturanga) comfortably
RECOMMENDATIONS: Refrain from alcohol consumption at least 24 hours before the workshop

TEACHER BIOS Danielle 'Mama Dragon' Bryan is an Indiana-native who has spent the past 9 years traveling around the country with quite the interesting path. Her passion for Women's Health started at a young age when she saw much suffering in her family & felt her own negative self talk affecting her daily life. Meditation & Mindfulness began to sprinkle it's way through her life as a young adult & she began a path to total mind-body transformation in the Summer of 2011. Since then, Danielle has become a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, WBFF Pro Fitness Model, Yoga Instructor & 200-HR Meditation Teacher.
In August 2014, Danielle started DragonFit; a Virtual Platform for Women's Health focusing on Inner Transformation First- Outer Transformation Second. Since then, Danielle has worked with over 500 women both through DragonFit & hosting Women's Wellness Weekends in the Texas Hill Country. She believes that Every Woman has the ability to cultivate deep inner peace & appreciation for their bodies and is determined to change the way women approach their lifelong health.
